Thiksey Monestry, Ladakh, India

First of all, I would like to thank you for all the love and support in the form of comments, emails and visits on this website.

I couldn’t update the blog because of my frequent visits to The Himalayas. I also visited Ladakh twice in the last two months and I uploaded few more photographs from the different ranges of The mighty Himalayas.

So I present to you a collection of serene landscapes from the Indian Himalayas.

The slideshow includes photographs from Himachal and Ladakh.

I hope you’ll like it.

Rain of Colors

People singing and abusing each other in the traditional braj language as a part of a ritual know as Samaaj where people of Nand Gaon ( Village of Lord Krishna ) and Barsaana ( village of Lord Krishna’s beloved, Radha ) sit together and abuse each other by the way of singing songs. Others throw colored powder and water on each other in while celebrating the festival of colors, Holi of Braj Region.

Before Sunrise – Bilaspur

Started driving from Dharamshala to Shimla at around 12 at night and after 5 hours of continuous driving, I was not in a condition to drive. So i parked my car somewhere near Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh  and slept there for an hour and this was what I saw when I got up.

I love Himachal.
